A Moment for Us is book number three in the Willow Creek series and I’m loving every minute of this series, which isn’t a surprise since I’m obsessed with anything Corinne Michaels writes.
This follows Dellia and Josh, who have both known each other for years. Delia has been in love with Josh since she was 15 years old, and because Josh is the bother of her best friend, Alex, things have never really progressed. Delia has continued to love Josh from afar. It was easier to forget about him when he wasn’t in town but now he’s back in town and she can’t ignore how she feels for him even if she thought she was over him.
Josh can’t ignore his feelings anymore so the two of them come to an agreement that they can give in for one night… but will that be enough?
I didn’t know where this story was going and why Josh was acting like he was but Corinne really managed to pull at my heartstrings. As she always does, Corinne manages to break your heart but put it back together in such a wonderful way. I really really loved the journey that Delia and Josh went on and how they came together. Delia is full of sass and even though she’s loved Josh for so long, she doesn’t back away from him and Josh, wow Josh, he’s a damaged man who thinks he deserved all that has been given to him in the past… but with Delia he might learn that he does deserve to be happy.
This was such a great addition to the Willow Creek series, it was so good to be back with these characters and I can’t wait to see where Oliver’s journey takes him next.
