I love Giana’s writing, her age gap romances and an a mean anti hero so when I read the blurb for Dangerous Temptation, I was hooked. I read the prequel novella, Bad Dream and was even more excited to read this book!
This was a short read because it’s been split into a duet so it didn’t take me very long to read at all.
I really loved Tiernan even though he was pretty mean to Bianca, but as you continue to read his journey with Bianca, you can see his kindness shining through in glimpses and his need for acceptance is the reason he is the way he is. At the first glimpse of his heart, I was in love with him.
Bianca is an interesting character too, she’s much younger than Teirnan but even though she’s been dealt some really bad things in her life, she continues to persist and move on, putting her brother first as she has always been the one to look after him.
The start of Tiernan and Bianca’s relationship is such a roller coaster of hot and cold. It’s intense even as they both try to deny their feelings for each other… and even when things get super steamy!
I liked the first instalment of this duet and enjoyed their relationship, the tension and slow burn but because the book was so short, I felt like something was missing, maybe this could’ve been a standalone? I’ll know after I read the second instalment!
I’m looking forward to reading the end of their story together.
