Olivia Brent has one summer to save the dairy farm she just inherited.
But there’s one problem, and it’s not her lactose intolerance.
Jake Milovic.
The brooding farmhand has inherited exactly fifty percent of Brent Farm, and he’s so convinced the city girl can’t work the land, he bets she can’t save it in a summer.
Determined to prove him wrong, Olivia accepts what might be the dumbest wager of her life.
His strategy to win seems simple: follow her around, shirtlessly distracting her between bouts of relentless tauntin g. And it’s effective — if his dark eyes and rare smiles aren’t enough to sidetrack her, the sweaty, rolling topography of the manbeast’s body would do the trick.
What they don’t know: they’ll ha ve to weather more than each other.
Mysterious circumstances throw the farm into disarray, and with the dairy farm in danger, Olivia and Jake have to work together. But when they do, ther e’s more to fear than either of them imagined.
Because now their hearts are on the line, and the farm won’t be the only casualty if they fail.

REVIEW
4.5 STARS!

I have to admit, I haven’t read a Staci Hart novel for a while so I wasn’t completely sure what I was getting into when starting Bet The Farm but it did not disappoint. I loved it!

Bet the Farm is exactly what I needed at this moment in time, it was hilarious with a bit of hope.

Staci Hart has written a beautiful book full of sunshine that showcases a powerful couple on a crazy rollercoaster ride.

I completely fell in love with Olivia and Jake straight away. This couple couldn’t be more different but they just work together so well.

Olivia is hilarious, she has big dreams and so many ideas on how to help save the farm and once her mind is put to something, she doesn’t back down easily. I loved Olivia, she has a heart of gold and the best intentions whenever she is doing something. I completely connected with her straight away as she was mourning the loss of her beloved Grandpa. Although she was suffering from the loss and fighting for what she thought was best and made a few mistakes, she still had such a positive mindset throughout it all and never gave up. I loved watching her fall in love with Jake and how she showed him patience and understanding and truely showed that she cared for him.

I fell in love with Jake straight away, I’m such a sucker for grumpy men that have a soft spot for that one person that brings light into their life. Jake’s person was Olivia. Jake was so loyal, protective and determined towards everything he loved. He may come across as rude at times but he had the best intentions and didn’t want everything he has known to suddenly change. He has walls up to protect his heart from being let down again but once he gave love a chance, it was beautiful.

Staci Hart has written he perfect enemies to lovers book with just the right amount of angst. Both Olivia and Jake always had the best intentions at heart and never meant to hurt the other person if they couldn’t come to an understanding. They really cared about each other underneath the disagreements. Their chemistry was flying off the pages even when they hadn’t even gotten together yet and the slow burn was still building and when they finally gave in the spark was undeniably beautiful.

I loved the supporting characters and their friendships and relationships with Jake and Olivia and they made the story even better. They were like a family.

I love Staci’s world building and the whole story was beautifully written with the perfect ending.

This is such a heartfelt story that will make you feel good inside when you’re reading it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a great romance story.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's als o been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
