The bell chimes as the front door closes behind me. I’m to my car in record speed. I need space. I need air. I need to think. When my phone buzzes right before I pull out of the parking lot, I know it’s Pepper and she’s not going to quit until I give her something to occupy her mind.
“Fine!” I nearly shout into the phone. “His cock is about ten inches, if I’m guessing, and he fucked me in about every position I could explain. My favorite, though, was the corkscrew. Not sure what that is? Google it.”
My finger goes to swipe off the call when I see the name on the screen and drop the phone. “Shit!” I cry, digging through the items on my passenger’s side floorboard until I find the glowing device.
My heart is pounding as I try to decide whether to end the call or talk to Lincoln. Mortified, I bring it to my ear and squeeze my eyes shut. He’s silent.
Maybe he didn’t hear. Please, God, don’t let him have heard that.
“Hello?” I eke out.

4.5 Stars for Swing!!
This is the second book in the Landry series but it can be read as a standalone. The series is based on the four Landry sons, Lincoln is the youngest of the four. We met Lincoln in the first book of the series which made me want to get to know him more. I knew he was an interesting character from that introduction. Lincoln is a successful baseball player and although he has a cocky side, he also has a sincerer side to him which is explored in Swing. I loved Danielle from the start (and not just because we share a name), she is confident in her job but beneath that armour of confidence she is hiding the pain from her lack of relationship with her parents and her previous relationship. It’s no surprise that Danielle puts up a fight against Lincoln’s pursuit but that doesn’t stop him.
I really loved this book, it was a easy read that had me continuing to turn the page because I wanted to find out what was next in their story. I loved the conversations between Lincoln and Danielle, they had me laughing out loud most of the time. This book also had some hotness that added another element to the story that made it even more enjoyable. Locke has written a strong romance about two people that seem like complete opposites but are truly meant for each other. I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes contemporary romance. I really can’t wait for the next instalment in this series as I know from Sway and now Swing that it will be great.
